CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS – READ VERY CAREFULLY!

Okay–so here are the abbreviated contest rules. At the end of the month, ONE lucky winner will be the happy owner of a brand new Kindle Fire.

Step 1: You’ve signed up to be entered into the pool of contestants. So that part’s finished.

Step 2: You will be required to fill out a quick survey (yes we do make a TINY bit of money, to cover SOME of the Kindle costs). If you do not want to fill out this survey, do not enter–no problem. The people who DO fill out the survey will gain access to be on the email list for Step 3.

Now, Step 3: On the last TUESDAY of every month, at exactly 9PM Eastern time, we will be sending everybody who has signed up in Step 2 a list of “internet items” (images) they will have to retrieve and send to us. Contestants will be judged on TIME (the amount of time from when the email officially went out to the time you send us an email with the required images), NOT first come, first serve–since emails go out one by one.

Finally, in the case of a tie, we will pick a winner at random (from the winners).

The “item”s that you will be required to send in are simple images. For example:

-an image of Catwoman

-an image of a cat playing with a ball of yarn

-an image of cat food

-etc. etc.

There will be three images to be found and sent to us. Keep images at a reasonable size, or your entry will be DQ’ed, at our discretion.

All arbitration and refereeing will come down to our final decision. WE are the ones forking up the dough for the Kindle Fire.

We hold contests every month.

Finally, the winner will be REQUIRED to either record a 30 second interview, via video or voice recording, OR write up a 500 word guest article! No exceptions (okay–some exceptions, but please do us the favor)! This will be put up on our website.

PS: we get about 300-500 contestants for our other website… so if you’re short of money this holiday season, this is a REALLY good chance to win.

I would LOVE to win a Kindle! What a WONDERFUL anniversary, birthday and Christmas gift it would be for me. I KNOW my husband would appreciate it, as he is not able to buy me anything this year. (And yes, anniversary, birthday and Christmas are all between the 21st and 25th of December!). I would have entered earlier, but I just found your very informative site! Thank you so much for the breakdown on everything! I also like that it will read to me, regardless of the odd man voice! Happy Holidays!
